Who doesn't love a humungous freakin' sandwich every now again (or more often than every now and again)? I certainly do! And I love Monte Cristo sandwiches a lot, which is why this Monte Cubano from Gourmet's March 2009 issue caught my eye. The garlicy mayonnaise really made this outstanding, and it smelled wonderful as it cooked!The recipe is here.
