He is recovering from heart surgery for a blockage that would not have been discovered but for him waking up upside down in his totaled vehicle, unhurt for for small nicks from the glass as he crawled out of it. In checking him out, the docs found artery blockage that could have taken his life had it not been caught. There was no damage to the heart muscle and the blockage has been fixed completely. He is surrounded by well wishes and family but a little extra care and prayers never hurts.
Be thankful for the small miracles in your life, including the ones you hug as they leave the house.
